I've noticed over the past few days that ITV Player is now working on my 2011 Panasonic VT30.

It's not listed on the EPG, but appears after selecting channel 903.

What's strange is that there's been no recent firmware update to enable this and nothing from Freesat to announce it. (It still says TBC on the web site)


Potentially owners of other TV models might find that ITV Player is now working for them too.


The picture quality is a bit variable - some programmes seem more compressed and pixellated than others - but generally it's pretty good.

I like it.

(An iPlayer style HD option would still be nice though!)

Hi I have a question regarding the BBC iPlayer and ITV Player. Do you need a good internet connection for this? Or does it all come through the FreeSat receiver?

You need a reasonable internet connection. All the content is internet delivered.
