Will SkyHD sub card do same job as FSFS card?

I currently have a SkyHD subscription and am thinking of cancelling this and moving to a FSFS set up. I'm aware that I'll have to pay an extra £10 to Sky if I want to continue to use my recording and playback functions on my box and I'll probably do so.

However, will I have to buy a FSFS card for £25 or will my Sky subscription card carry out the same function and give me the same range of channels? Advice appreciated.

Yes, you can continue to use your subscription card , to receive the few FTV channels that there are.

If continuing the recording subscription make sure you cancel down to this rather than the impossible task of reinstating it to recording functions after cancelling.

That's if you're lucky and get an agent who knows he can cancel down to this.
If you don't, then it's back to Persistence Pays - try again.

Just to put my meagre knowledge in the "pan".......
My newly purchased fsfs card allows record and playback on my old skyhd+ box! im not supposed to get this feature as ive not got or had any sky subscription for over 6 years!.......perhaps this is a small blooper made by sky, and most likely to be removed as soon as they catch up with me tho i presume!
