Got the Foxsat HDR on the day of release, and about 3 or 4 times since then I've gotten this error after turning it on.

Internal HDD not available. Please check your HDD.

It would take ages to boot and then give that error and not let me record or watch any recordings. It didn't really bother me because turning it off with the switch at the back and then on again would fix it. But today no matter how many times I turn it off, or for how long I leave it off, it keeps giving me that error.

Cant seem to find any referencs to the error with google or on here, has anyone seen or heard of this error?

I was planning on upgrading the HDD for it anyway, so if its just a faulty HDD then thats fine, but could it be some kind of fautly chip or connection? I don't want open it if it needs to be returned.

I got it from Argos online, don't think I still have the recipt or email confirming the order. What do you think my chances of getting a replacement are?

If you bought it online, you must have a Credit Card receipt or similar.

You only have to PROVE PURCHASE, and not have the manufacturers receipt.

It will still be covered by warranty, so take it back.
