hd freesat ?

hd freesat.... are you just able to dump your skybox and bolt hd freesat on it after your subs finished?

Indeed.

That's exactly what I plan to do. Just cancelled Sky HD, and you lose the Sky+ functionality. Planning to sell the Sky HD box and buy a Humax Freesat HD recorder.

Why dump, and why bolt? The Sky receiver still works to receive those Freesat channels.
What are the Freesat HD channels though? BBC a few hours a day, ITV a few programmes a week, Luxe 24/7.

Not to mention C4HD. Rather than spending well over £200 to get a new box, I'd be inclined to carry on paying the £10 a month for PVR functions and wait for the prices to drop on a Freeview HD PVR or Freesat PVR.

I omitted "C4 HD" because it's mainly upscaled SD and because there are complications with receiving it on Freesat, but yes, it's a possible addition.

Complications? I just thought you couldn't get CH4HD via Freesat period?
