What HD Freesat+ Box shall i buy?

Need a bit of advice guys, i think i give up with my Freeview+ box so im going to go for a Freesat+ box instead.

I want a HD+ box not a standard one with a decent price tag and respectable brand.

Which box do you have or recommend?

Cheers

It would help if you could specify which features you want most.

Eg

USB archiving/ copy recordings to PC capability

Ability to watch 3rd channels while recording two

Capability of timer recording in free to air mode

Built in DVD and/or Blu ray recording

Fan noise

Can you get two lnb connections or are you restricted to one due to a communal installation ?

etc

Hi mate,

All i want is the possibility to record 2 channels at the same time, so a twin tuner system, not bothered about watching a 3rd channel.

Fan noise doesnt bother me and i already have a sky dish up with 2 cables coming into the front room, all i need to do is put a freesat box on the end of them

Your choice would be between the Foxsat-hdr or the Harvard 500GB models unless you want to spend a lot of money on the hybrid Panasonic models

Current range here

Personally based on build quality experience I would go for the Humax model over the Bush/Goodmans/Grundig models. But heh that's a personal opinion

It's about £70.00 less than you can find a 320GB Foxdat-hdr so yes it sounds a good price to me . Only time will tell if it's a good buy, my Foxsat-hdr is 18 months old and still working flawlessly.
