Have sky+,can I add Freesat to output to DVD

I have sky+,sometimes I want to record 3 programs at once but of course can only do 2 at a time,I have a sony DVD recorder(freeview built in but reception poor and gliches). If I got a Freesat box could I output to the Sony DVD as well as recording 2 programs on sky+ thus recording 3 at once(one on the Sony and two om sky+)?.

You will need to make sure that your Sony box can record from SCART. You will also need an extra coax cable from your LNB to the freesat box, which could require a LNB upgrade from a twin to a quad

All DVD recorders can record from scart input. No Sky+ dishes have only a twin LNB on them. Yes OP, you can do what you want to do.

Actually some earlier dishes fitted for Sky + did only have a twin LNB however most do have a quad
