i-Player coming to Havard and Technisat

According to the joinfreesat.co.uk site today, Technisat will be issuing a software update on 16th March to enable i-Player on their equipment, and on or around the same date Havard group (Grundig, Bush, and Goodmans) will be doing likewise!

Should be interesting. I used to use the PC I have under the TV for iPlayer, but recently it's all changed; you can no longer seem to download a WMV file to play in WMP11, and have to use an app downloaded from iPlayer's site to download and play the file. Problem with that is the playback is AWFUL on my PC (which isn't a great spec) and even streaming it from the web browser isn't as good as it used to be, so I'm looking forward to see what it might be like on my Freesat box.
