Question Humax recording issue

Hi, I have used these forums to get to this point without posting (Thank you everyone for a fab resource).

SETUP:
I now have the following setup-
88cm dish with multiarm holding 2 LNBs. A single LNB to Hotbird and a two-way LNB to Astra.
I have a Diseqc switch with an input from Hotbird and one feed from Astra.
Humax HDR - LNB1 input - takes input from Diseqc
- LNB2 input - straight connect from second output of Astra LNB
Pretty good signal strength/quality (>80%)
I have done Manual tune using RGYBGYB and setup the 3 feeds.
I can watch Freesat, FTA on Astra and FTA on Hotbird with no problems.

PROBLEM:
If I record a channel on Freesat, BBC1 say, then I can only watch that channel or a few others like BBC HD. ITV etc are all greyed out on the channel LIST.

I was expecting to be able to watch and record different channels.

I would be grateful for any pointers as to what I am doing wrong. As I say I am a newbie so it is probably something daft but I have got most of it going...

Unhappy No Joy

Tried the instructions again with no joy - But edited as (drumroll) I have fixed it.

Here is what you should do;
Off-On.
Factory Reset
Freesat tune
>>Checking it now you have the ability to record and watch 2 different programmes and pause another.
Menu, Setup, RGYBGYB
Antenna, Fixed, 2 cables (SAME), Satellite setting
Freesat, Disecq A, save
Hotbird, Disecq B, save
Back to menu, Manual Tune, Hotbird, save
Manual Tune, Freesat, save
>>Checking it now you have the dual record as before. On non-Freesat mode you can now record PATIO (Hotbird) and BBC1 (28.2E) at the same time.

I think it was the 2 cables (Same) that did it for me. I changed that to 2 cables (Different) before as I figured that they are (LNB1 has the Disecq switch and LNB2 is just 28.2E). +Those instructions linked above say to do that. Don't.

However, in non-Freesat mode, List, Yellow button (Satellite) only shows Hotbird at the top and Hotbird and 28.2E channels mixed. I don't get to filter by satellite as I should.

Hope this helps others.
