Humax HDR Diseqc 2 tuner Problem

I have followed the instructions here [ foxsat - diseqc-setup ] but I still have a problem using both tuners.
I have 1 feed from my switch box connected to my LNB1 input, and a loop-through to LNB2.
When I do a factory reset and the setup wizard detects my Disecq, it says 'single cable'.
When I record a program, some of the other channels are not available any more.
Should this setup work ?

Does it matter what the Disecq of other receivers in the house are set to ?
I also have 19.2e set up in non-freesat mode (Disecq B).
Is there any way I can see which Diseqc channel Freesat is using (without doing a setup ) ?

Not tried it but I would think you need two lnbs on 28.2/28.5 E with a diseqc switches on tuner 1 with the other lnb input and a clear feed to tuner 2 on 28.2E (plus a second switch with both infeeds if you want to record any combination of two in non freesat

Using the loop through will limit the second tuner to whatever band, polarisation and satellite the first tuner has selected.

You need a second diseqc and lnb feeds for the second tuner if you want to watch/record whatever you want.

I was under the impression though that the foxsat wouldn't work with twin tuners in non-freesat mode Unless later firmwares have rectified this.

The hdr has always supported two tuners in non-freesat mode.

Thanks for the help.

Well I used 2 feeds from my switch box and that worked fine for ages, but when I had some reception problems during the cold weather I ended up doing a system update via USB stick, and since then I haven't been able get both tuners fully functioning.
I read a set up guide which only stated using LNB1 input, so I thought that should do the trick.

Using 2 feeds I used to be able to record 2 channels and watch a third nearly every time.
I'll try putting the 2nd feed back and retuning everything (again) soon.

Just to clarify, should each receiver connected to the switch box work completely independently ? So the diseqc channels used on one doesn't have to be different to those used an another ?

How does one get that to work?

Every box I have played with disables the 2nd input in non-Freesat mode.

Every one I have ever setup as well. I even contacted Humax tech support over the problem who confirmed the box only supports twin tuners in freesat mode ?

Each tuner should have it's own DisEQc switch, and LNB feed(s)

Well I just recorded Luxe Hd and Channel 4 at the same time in non-freesat mode. Using USALS for a motorised dish forces the hdr into single input. Afaik it works fine with 2 diseqc switches provided both have a 28.2/28.5 lnb connected

With only one it has to be on lnb1

I found out my 2nd feed is dead, so that explains why it stopped working with both tuners.
I was trying to connect a different receiver and there was no signal at all, so something must have gone wrong at the switch box.
Thanks for the tips guys..
