Any channel will help Freesat. Better than another shopping channel

I'm not sure I wouldn't rather be sold a kitchen gadget than be guided through the last hour's trading on Wall St - which is on now!

Neither interest me, teens dont care about business or shopping . Still, a major US channel has gone FTA, hopefully others will follow

The Tonight Shows's good, Jay Leno's coming back soon to host, on daily from 23:00. At weekends you have CNBC Sports from 13:00-17:00 and some interesting docs and extended Tonight Show in the evening.

I dont have CNBC on mine, however Information TV has moved to channel 402 and is called 58008?
How do I add CNBC, I am using a Bush HD box. Do I have to do a brand new first time install? If I do this will I lose all my non freesat channels?

CNBC appeared on my Bush HD automatically, & I think I'm set on manual upgrades. Try leaving it on auto upgrade to see if that does the trick.

Yes - if you do a first time install, you'll lose all your non-Freesat channels.

BTW the EPG for Information TV currently says "No Information Available" -sums up a lot about TV & life in general.

Where in the settings is that? Is your information tv called information tv or is yours called 58008? How long would it take till the channel appears if I set it to automatic?

Bring up the main menu with the Menu button on your remote; then OK on Settings; & towards the bottom of the list you'll see Receiver Upgrade; OK on that, & you're given an option between Manual & Automatic - try Automatic; & see if the EPG rights itself ovenight.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if you do have to perform a First Time Install before the EPG rights itself.

Information TV is listed as that on my EPG.

Probably standby would do - but why not leave it on for a night or two (with the TV off of course).

There was a rather interesting documentary on there tonight about the "Sports Illustrated Swimwear Edition" - of course as a keen photographer I watched it to see their techniques *cough*!

They also had a great documentary about Google at the weekend, plus of course the Tonight Show!

Damn we need some more HD channels though!

Don't forget the 8 hours of sport at weekends also, from 1-5PM. Jay Leno returned to the Tonight Show last night, will be on nightly weekdays from now on 11-11:30PM, weekends 8-9:30PM.
