Hi guys,

I'm having a problem copying my recorded programmes from my Humax Foxsat HDR to USB stick (8GB). About 9 times out of 10 the process freezes on the "Copying a file..." screen and makes not progress in 1hr+. The files on the USB after such failed atempts are the .HTM, .NTS and a small (~1MB) .ts file. I have tried several different programmes each about 30 mins long and in SD. Attempting to copy multiple files always fails. Any suggestions?

Have you tried re-formatting the USB stick? Might be worth a shot.

The TS is the transport stream file which actually contains the programme data. The other files are used by the HDR to hold information about the programme such as description and dates.

Make sure the drive is cleanly formatted using the fat32 file system.

If formatting fails to fix it's likely a compatibility problem the hdr does not like the chip sets used in some sticks. If it helps my hdr works fine with two 8GB DANELEC ones and also a 8GB emaxUSB one
