Foxsat HDR not recognising USB drives

Hi All - can anyone help?

My Foxsat HDR (Software v 1.00.11, loader v U 7.52) will not recognise any USB pen drives or hard drives. I've tried several, formatted to Fat 32, in both front and rear ports with no luck. Power is there as some of the pen drives have lights to show they are working but I get no response from the Foxsat unit.
Might my unit be faulty? I'm desperate to archive off some recordings and free up some space as I am on 95% fill!

Any suggestions welcomed!

Julian

Either you are very very unlucky or somethings wrong, I have 3 different usb drives all obscure makes and 2 HDD and the hdr works fine with them all. I saw a post recently that someone stated his hdr worked fine with a kingston model from Tescos so other than suggesting buying/borrowing other drives can't really help much sorreee

Partial solution

Hi Graham

Thanks for your interest. I finally did a factory reset and now can get a portable hard drive recognised by the rear USB! Still nothing at the front so perhaps it is damaged or faulty.

Anyway - I am now transferring recordings slowly - is there any way of copying more than one file at a time?

Cheers,
Julian

Multi -file copying

Forget that last question - have found that in Edit mode you can mark up multiple files to move!

Regards

Hi Julian - you beat me to the yellow button.

I am afraid it's a bit of a slow process, I have just attached a 1Tb sata drive in a usb caddy to make some space on my 1Tb hdr drive (was 80% full). I mark up about 6 HD files and leave it to get on with it.
