One interesting thing about this box is the ability to buffer record (see page 29 onwards)... another is the PiP facility. But I am sure there's lots of things the HDR can do that the Sagem won't be able to...

Manual does not mention diseqc (which the foxsat hdr has got) but it does suggest you can timer record non-freesat programmes (which the hdr cannot).
Finding a twin tuner freesat+ recorder with diseqc and ability to set timer recordings for non-freesat channels has been a goal of mine since the hdr first came out but still none found.
Currently pinning my hopes on Technisat bringing out a new model as their HDFS can do diseqc and non-freesat recordings to an external drive (but only one tuner)
