any freesat pvr likely to component out?

hi all...
currently seen a humax freesat box with component out....but it's missing from their pvr?...
would like this for a feed to my pj.....and the hdmi to my telly.
dont think theres any pvr boxes out there at the moment but does anyone know if there will likely to be any coming out in the near future?
....or the only was to get these features will be to use one of the panasonic dvd recorders with built in hard drive and freesat tuners?

cheer.

You won't get HD out of component out on any freesat box on ITV HD or BBC HD as the freesat spec disables HD component to avoid copying in true HD (including the Foxsat-HD). You can however easily get component HD out on generic fta pvrs which don't have to conform to the freesat spec.

Only way to get component output in HD from a freesat box is to use something like a HDfury2 (designed to feed HD projectors with only component in from a HDCP HDMI output)

They can be used with any dish on any satellite. You will have to check before buying about ITV HD as it uses non standard vpids so is not available on all fta boxes. There is a third HD channel LUXE HD, but don't get too excited it has very pretty pictures but quickly gets pretty boring

Re: any freesat pvr likely to component out?

thanks....
might have to do so more research.......must admit i like the look of the humax and the epg which i had a quick play with......seems to be the box of choice as well.

.....might have to forsake the component side of things.

has anyone any comments on how sd and hd freesat looks on the big screen......i'm using a 5ft screen and a native 480 pj (though it will downscale 1080i)

cheers.
