Hi,

This is a question for a friend. We have a Grundig Freesat box which had a firmware update over the air approx 4 weeks ago. Since the update the unit turns itself off and on every 5 miins or so and then sound goes off. He contacted the Grundig helpline and they said that it should sort itself out in a couple of days. Needless to say 4 weeks latter there is no improvement. Can anyone on the forum pass on some advice.

Someone on another forum says that they were told a new download is due on the 16th, if this fails to materialize I am going get them to replace mine (Goodmans GFSAT200HD)

The latest software (1.8.1) was put on air today and seems to be working for most people whose boxes were rendered useless by the previous (1.7.48) download.
