Grundig GUFSAT01HD with Onkyo 605 Amp

Hi All

i have just purchased a Grundig GUFSAT01HD box which works fine with the HD lead plugged straight into the TV but when i try and connect the box through my AV Receiver (Onkyo 605) with the HDMI lead i cannot get any picture or sound!

I have verified the amp and leads are ok by plugging in my PS3 via HDMI, and the audio works fine from the freesat box through the amp if i connect audio only through an optical lead.

Any ideas?

Don't you have to assign the HDMI inputs on that model of Onkyo?

You do have to assign the HDMI inputs which i have done, just cannot get any picture or sound!!

Hi. I had this problem when I connected my ONKYO HTX-22HD to the Grindig via HTMI. Will work if you connect all up and cycle the power to the grundig. In and out of standby does not work. I use the optical output but would prefer to use hdmi as there is a slight out of sync particulaly on ITV HD
