I bought a car from Auction earlier in the evening, but tried 15 mins ago and they seemed to be down.

It's not officially out until Friday though so I guess this might be frequent until then, whilst they perfect things?

nope we have been online in a full lobby on Forza3 from 19:00 untill 23:00ish without any problems

They came back up around 11ish you could host pvt games nothing else as i was in one when it was down.

I noticed that too. After I was lagging in the two races I tried in the AVF lobby I tried to join a random race to see if I was still having problems but it would not let me search for games saying there were 0 players online.

ah that would explain whay i didnt have any troubles as mine was a friends only private lobby

They're only letting good players online now mate, you'll have to get some practice in first before you can play
