Woop! They'll get an order or two from me that they would otherwise have lost to ebuyer or dabs, that's for sure.

Edit, they won't now, and the first post needs editing to reflect the whopping £100 ex VAT limit.

Too late, went to order from them yesterday afternoon and found out about not getting free delivery so went to Dabs (and I don't even like them)

Thumbs up Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

I just received the bits for my new HTPC from scan (after spending weeks reading about which bits to buy on here!)

They messed me about a bit with an item that was supposed to be in stock, but was out, but I must say their customer service (a lady called Dawn) made up for it - so I'll definitely be ordering from them again with this offer!

Rich.

Good news. Scan, along with ebuyer, are my favourite e-tailers for computer parts!

Likewise have been using both (Scan mainly) for pretty much all PC related stuff I've bought in the last couple of years.

With this offer I just hope we dont end up with lots of people posting nonsense to get 20 posts then never coming back again. Maybe should have made it 200

Great news! I always used Scan when the free delivery offer was on. And good timing too, as I have a load of parts I need.
Thanks AVF and Scan!

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Nice one! I've already got my free delivery through the HEXUS forums. I can highly recommend Scan, the Customer Service is excellent (had to contact CS 3-4 times when I made my first order, nothing short of exceptional service).

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

Is anyone else having trouble with this?

I'm clicking on the link from the first post, but everytime I do it says I need to be logged in. When following the link to log into my account it accepts my username and password but takes me to the main page without being logged in. I only appear to be logged in when I navigate to one of the forums.

Am I missing something really obvious?

All I get on that page is:

"In order to qualify for the SCAN & AVForums loyalty programme you need to login to your AVForums account. Please login (and register first if you need to) here."

I can't find a link on that page that re-directs to the Scan site.

I think there must be an issue with my AVForums account. As you say, I'm logged in to post, but the link doesn't show on that page.

Thanks for your help, I'll need to take this up with admin by the looks of it.

I'm clicking on the link from the first post, but everytime I do it says I need to be logged in. When following the link to log into my account it accepts my username and password but takes me to the main page without being logged in. I only appear to be logged in when I navigate to one of the forums.

Am I missing something really obvious?
Sounds to me like you don't have cookies enabled.

I've added AVForums.com to the 'accept all cookies' list in my browser and also changed the privacy settings to accept all cookies but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.

You may need to log out and back in again for it to set the cookie.

Re: The SCAN free delivery programme is back

I've rebooted, cleared all cookies and then rebooted again but it's still doing the same.

I've also tried another PC and getting the same result.

I shall keep trying though... Thanks for your help.
