iPhone 3.0 software makes for a busy iPhone forum

Tonight as people found Apple's iTunes servers overloaded with requests from people upgrading to the newly released version 3.0 of the software, we had a big spike in forum traffic (see the screen capture taken at 9:17pm).

Thanks to all the people who posted help. I was one of the grateful recipients of reassurance as the overloaded iTunes servers delayed my update.

It seems that most people got their iPhones up and running after a few frustrating minutes and we now look forward to the flood of people chatting about their New iPhone 3G s released Friday.

It's a phone, too expensive and quite simply over-hyped, there are more important things in life to worry about surely? Like how to get a Kuro before they all dis-appear!

Now that the message screen (where your typed, but unsent, message shows) grows without limit as you type i can no longer see messages in the conversation whilst I'm writing. Is there a way to minimise or hide the keyboard etc?

I trust apple are better than to not have a solution for this. Please restore my faith!!

Thanks

Clair

Stuart

Is there a VB mobile version that would allow a better browsing experience for iPhone users when looking at the forums on the move ? ...

At the moment the 'normal' browser takes ages to navigate around and the 'text only' version is almost as bad !!
