Hello Brick Wall, i'd like to talk to you as it's as much use as trying to point out the most obvious point.

Mr McCoist:

Option [A] - Ask Mr Andrew Dickson, head of of football administration at Rangers, who was at the hearing. [hint, hint - he was in the same room]

or

Option [B] - Go off an emotional 'I'm a Teddy Bear at heart' rant and 'we the peepil' demand to know who was on the panel [with the possible inflammatary consequences which may ensue].

Over to you Mr McCoist, and yes, you may phone a friend on your office intercom.

Oh dear - he choose B

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has been charged with breaking three Scottish FA rules for his conduct after his team's Scottish Cup semi-final loss to Hearts.

The McCoist rant the other day was very aggressively worded and slightly out of control. He was very upset. The manner in which he was asking 'Who are these people' itself was quite threatening.

I actually think he knew full well what he was doing, and that once the individuals' names were discovered, as I'm sure he knew they would be, that there would be some form of threat to them.

His coming out today and bleating about how disgusted he is with the threats sounds very unbelievable. He should have either shut up, or calmly stated that an appeal would be made.

I definitely think he's incited this. At worst, he's being malicious and inciting hate. At best, he's being really irresponsible. He should be punished for his statement the other day.

The panels names were coming out no matter what. Ally asked what every fan wanted to know. Transparency through secrecy will never work.

The panel met and decided to give Rangers 6 more months on their embargo and Lennon a lollipop because he has to watch the final from his living room.

You have absolutely no evidence of that at all.

No I don't. But you must admit that the threats coming right after McCoist's statement were very predictable, and that McCoist's statement was inflammatory/ aggressive/ threatening in the way it was worded.

He didn't say in his statement 'how did they come to this decision?' He repeatedly said 'who are these people'...

"Who are these people? I want to know who these people are," added McCoist.

"I'm a Rangers supporter and the Rangers supporters and the Scottish public deserve to know who these people are, people who are working for the SFA.

"Make no mistake about it, this is an SFA decision. They have appointed the panel so therefore they are working for the SFA, but who are they?

"I think we have a right to know who is handing out this punishment to us, I really do."

I count that as 5 times he's asking who they are. Come on, even you must admit its aggressive? After a statement like that, its very predictable what happens next.

Even more embarassing that he felt the need to ask at all when his 'own man' was sitting in the same room

Can't see the woods for the trees comes to mind

Makes his outburst even less acceptable.

None of the three panel members should have to speak personally over this, they are issuing a breakdown of the reasons for this. If rangers agreed to the panel setup being anonymous then mccoist has broken that agreement by demanding the names. And as he's employed by rangers then they hold some responsibility, knowing the SFA they probably have a rule prohibiting making comments on procedures

What do you think will happen to rangers if the SFA decide to delay any appeals panels until after the season finishes due to what's happened?
Also if the reasons for the decisions are good enough then the next panel (from the same pool of people) might well just rubber stamp the decision.

The fallout from these events are unlikely to be good for rangers.

They can't speak as they are under a confidentiality clause. The SFA passing the buck is always going to bring problems, and now it has you have to question the ability of the SFA to make decisions. Hateley has it spot on.

Rangers take more fans to away grounds than Celtic do. Let's see how they like a drop in income. Dundee Utd, Hibs and Aberdeen said they'd boycott Ibrox which is the true lol moment.

That SSN link I posted must have been a mirage then

As for Baboon Arse Head, he doesn't even write his own column ***

He'd be better off trawling Loch Lomond for his missing football medals

So Jardine and his cronies are going to 'get back' at those clubs who have been 'unfair' to Rangers?

Let me guess, would that be all the football clubs owed money by Rangers?

At home, £1,029,494 is owed to Celtic, Dundee United, Dunfermline Athletic, Hearts and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

A further £2,322,643 to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Orebro, Rapid Vienna, St Etienne and Palermo.

Yes Sandy, bring the pain on you stupid man

Rangers are owed more money by clubs than they owe to clubs.

“I’m still at the club, I worked under Craig Whyte and I have to say that nobody knew that he wasn’t paying bills
Jesus .... they were a one man band the whole time Whyte was in charge

No accounts staff - no admin staff - no financial staff of any description

Just this man Whyte locked away in a room all by himself with a mountain of final demands being delivered directly into his 'bunker' by Royal Mail - with no outside intervention whatsoever

Sandy Jardine .......... another one to add to that deluded 'it wisnae us' list.

What did your SSN link say about the case? Nothing. Because it is confidential. He can still talk to the media or anyone about anything else, or did you think that meant he was banned from talking to anyone about anything?

The publication by Duff and Phelps also shows Rangers are owed £3.8m from other football clubs "in respect of deferred transfer fees which fall due over a period of time up to May 31, 2014"

You're a bit of a whizz at maths, what is £3,800,000 - £1,029,494 - £2,322,643?
