cheapish wall bracket

hi guys just bought a sammy plasma 50 inch
samsung ps50b530s2wxxu
[B]it weighs 37 k and is too heavy for my stand so im gonna wall mount it! i saw this on e bay and its like half the price of shop ones and hes sold tons but are they any good????

also im screwing the tv to an internel wall the stairs leading to upstairs and the stairs leading down to the cellar ar behind it so im sure irs a hefty wall, is it just a case of screwing the mount to the wall then sitting the plasma over it??
i saw some videos on u tube but there all american so they got studded walls, as were in uk we get brick right??? just drill then screw?????

Re: cheapish wall bracket

Hi

If its the wall under your stairs leading down to a cellar then it's almost certainly going to be brick, in which case you can just use some hefty plugs and screws.

I'd recommend an alternative bracket which is slightly more expensive but includes postage and is independently GS/TUV tested;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Universal LCD/Plasma Bracket

Hope this helps

Regards
Graham

Re: cheapish wall bracket

Hi

Our factory manufacture for many retailers, Littlewoods being one. The one you've linked to is the tilting version which is one our site here;

M-Form - 32" to 52" Tilting Universal LCD/Plasma Bracket

No difference between 'LCD' and 'Plasma' brackets for this size. It all comes down to the weight of the TV not the type, LED now included also.

Regards
Graham
