Firstly I just want to say that overall I'm really enjoying FIFA 10... but there are a couple of things I just want to get off my chest that I find annoying. Most of them are pretty small things, but for me there are the most annoying as in my (non-game designer mind) they would only take a second to fix.

• 1) Why can't I save replays offline to my hard-drive and have the option to upload later? I don't want to have to wait a couple of minutes in the middle of the match.
  
• 2) Really minor annoyance and other games do it as well, why do I need to select that I want the menus in English every time I load the game, why do I need to press start to get to the menu... you know I need to go there anyway so why put another screen in there to get in my way?
  
• 3) Why are so many of the games in manager mode rainy? I know it rains a lot in England but not that much?
  
• 4) Oh and as for the snowy effects pitch, I really like it and think its great that we've got the variety, but its a bit of a nightmare spotting the white ball against an all white pitch and in manager mode you don't seem to be able to change the ball (unless I missed the option)

EA have done such a great job with FIFA the last couple of years and this is the best football game I think I've ever played. But that makes these silly little things that bug me even more glaring against everything else that they've got right.

I would like to be able to save the replays to my hard drive if I play a mate online for example, I assumed you would be able to do that anyway, but I was wrong when I tried last night

This is the first time I have played a football game for many years and I am enjoying it - especially the different modes it offers

Another thing I have noticed is the commentary can be a bit laggy but doesn't happen too often. I know what you mean about having to press start each time and choose my language, seems a bit pointless every time seeing as other games can remember your selections

I played two games in manager mode last night with Barnet after selecting my starting team at the menu. then my third friendly vs Real Madrid i notice whilst playing my whole team has moved positions and some are not even started so had to re-arrange it all and make 3 subs. still won 5-2 though!

In 09 i used to prepare for a finnese shot by pressing RB before recieving the ball. Do that now and the player dummies. Thats annoying me. Can this be changed in custom controls?

I've had a player sent off and the first I new about it was when the commentator said 'whatever player should be carefull, as already one player sent off'.

However in defence the game is on another planet when you've had a few goes.
Made one hell of a goal line clearance after the ball looped up off my keeper and from the edge of the area. It was stunning, and more to the point just wouldnt have been possible with 09.

I'd imagine that when you've made a tackle and the ref has played advantage. I think it doesn't go back and show replays always then and that's probably why you missed the sending off.

Same old annoyances I suppose.......playing online, opposition = Man Utd, Real Madrid, Man Utd, Barcelona, Man Utd, Man Utd, Real Madrid, Man City, Man Utd

And is it just me, or are people online playing with a view of developing 'the 2nd ball', as in they deliberately play a rubbish pass that goes straight to your defender in your box, but make sure he's closed down quick stylee so that the person that tackles him is basically staring down 'Easy Goal Street'.........

Oh, and some strange mechanics whereby when the ball goes into the box, all my defenders seem to want to leg it up the other end for some reason, rather than defend the goal from the guy who's now got a bit of a tap in......and no, I don't use the offside tactic.

Not being able to save a default team/formation/tactics etc for online play is REALLY annoying........every time I play a Ranked match I've got to recreate the entire team with the formation and players that I want

I turned assistant off, but somehow my next line-up had Rooney at left back and Giggs up front, with the rest of the squad messed up too, bloody annoying, but not as annoying as the form...

Yep also annoying...you can use saved custom tactics though.

In manager mode i canot sign one player and i mean not one player of any type or kind. Well done EA.

yep.

although i enjoy by and large the game play i find it hard to believe the developers have spent any time on reading players feedback or played the game themselves when it comes to simple things like this and the league set ups.

It's the game-breaking bugs that have annoyed me. Not only are there 67 individual bugs in manager mode (many of them game-breaking), but the fact that not one single player mode works for me.

live season: trial download is broken and gives me an error code (not tried for a couple of days)

online: servers are broken and keep crashing

be a pro: all results are reversed, so after beating arsenal 1-0, it recorded the game as a 1-0 loss

Yeah, I've noticed a few bugs too. But the one that’s really p'd me off is the fact I have to be connected to the net and for the servers to be working for me to save replays. Tiger Woods lets you just save shots and doesn't force you to upload them. This is just simply wrong of EA to work it this way. I've scored so many great goals that I want to save to show my mates but haven’t been able to either because the servers ain't working or for some inexplicable reason the game just won't let me, ie the "Y" option is greyed out and un-selectable. Its so bloody infuriating!!!!

Also, the live season trial isn't working for me either. Just keep getting the same error message a few others have mentioned.

I'm a Pro Evo veteran and I have to say it was that games poor show since moving to this gen (plus Fifa's resurgence over the past couple of years) that made me take notice and I’m glad I did. I haven’t had this much fun in a football game since pro evo 5, and that was about 4 or 5 years ago on my old PS2!!!

But, the bugs are so glaring and obvious it makes me wonder if this game was even play tested at all before it was pushed out on to shelves!!!!

I hope EA are listening and trying to get this fixed. These are the sorts of things that will annoy people enough to think about giving Pro Evo a go on the 23rd........ Which, given how crap it was lately, I initially had no intention of doing.

GET IT SORTED EA!!!!!!!!

I've had a few bugs but by far the most annoying is this one....

I was on the 36th game of my season too, hopefully they'll release a patch and I'll be able to continue my manager mode, if not then back to the drawing board for me.

I'm gutted playing MM and a few of my players picked up injurys and the next game is a cup game and I ave to forfeit is there any way around that? Or do I just forfeit

I notice on the EA site they have a poll what are you most looking forward to in FIFA 10 and one answer is improved MM. How can they claim this? Its is so much worse than last year. I really am annoyed with EA and dont think i can find a reason to purchase one of thier games again..

the only thing ive kept it for now is the 10 v 10 bap with some peeps from the forums

Manager mode has bugs, so does the be a pro seasons.

They need to sort this asap.

The AI, Keepers, passing can be hit and miss, manager mode bugs, players taking unnecessary extra touches, players doing that stupid stumble.
It's a big improvement over 09 though.

The only thing I've found annoying so far is the commentary - there seem to be more mistakes than in 09! The fact that I actually notice them annoys me. It says thing like '...and they've scored another very quickly after the first' when the score is 1 nil, and '..they keep their 100% record going with this win' when it's the first game of the season. Also, '..his form over the last few games has been poor' during a 'Be A Pro' game when I've scored 7 in the first 5 games of the season, with an average rating of 8.7!

Apart from that though, I am really enjoying the fact that the games flows so well compared to 09, and the little improvements like quick free kicks and being able to select different kick takers are really great.

However, I've only had the game since yesterday, so there may well be more to come.

It's the same with a red card. What you need to do is go into your team management and change your players around, then remember to switch it back afterwards. If you don't have enough players then you need to forfeit. I don't know why, when as long as you have more than 7 players you should be able to play a match

actually another bug I found when playing a friend, one of my players got man of the match. I wasn't surprised when I saw that his passing accuracy was 108%. what a game he had!

In be a pro, I'm continually having my results changed.

Say if I win 2-0, it shows up on the results/fixtures as a 2-0 loss, and 1-0 wins show up as 1-0 losses, and from time to time 1-1 draws.

Very frustrating that EA have released a game that's so bug ridden.

The players stumbling is starting to annoy me they stumble too far away from the ball as if they have been picked up and thrown. Also running side by side a player it's hard to fend them off and keep the ball under control.

Last year i hit the post all the time. This year i have hit it once, the ball went in and i didnt get an achivement. Crossing is poor. The stupid shuffle the players do when pressing the LT button is rediculasly annoying!

Oh and not to mention...STILL when swapping to control another player instead of staying within his current stride he stops stands up straight and then goes again, but when the cpu auto changes a player for you this does not happen.
