Bit of a fifa addict

I play fifa 09 alot and my niece has just broken the disk. I can get a used copy for £14.50 and I will sell it when fifa 10 comes out on 2nd october.

CEX currently will offer me £12 for fifa 09. This will probably turn to a fiver when fifa 10 comes out.

When do you think they will knock the price down so I can exchange it in on time. I know its only £7 but would rather me have it than them.

Re: Bit of a fifa addict

you will be lucky not to lose out mate as i would expect the trade price to tumble any time now really as there wont be many people buying this close to the release of '10.

if you really must have it try the bay, im sure you'll get a copy for sub £10

Not likely. The trade in value on FIFA 09 will drop significantly before then if it hasn't already. CEX will be aware of the release date of the new one plus there will probably be more people trading in the current one between now and then. IMO there is no point in buying the current one now and expecting to get a substantial amount back when trading it in. The trade in value will probably go down to around £2-£3 pounds pretty soon.
