The photo will be exhibited at the museum until next March. I just got back from the exhibition opening where I got a framed print of my photo and a certificate.

I have seen the little opaque end caps, and a larger sort of clear ribbed plastic cone with white cloth cover over the end and wondered which was better.

It’s mainly going to be used indoors and at family gatherings, when people are up close in low light, so obviously I don’t want them looking glary in the pictures.

Any info as always is much appreciated.

They also seem to want up to 25 shots of each building from various viewpoints so that they can they create 3D images from your photos.

The only UK building they are currently looking for is the Harwich International Ferry Terminal :(

Have read mixed reviews but will try it out on my D300 before making a full judgement but could tempt me to start using it more, poor thing hardly sees the light of day since the D700 arrived !

Its for Parties and Holidays so i can take a few lens, a flash and other b&b's around without lugging a huge bag too.

So i've narrowed it down to:

Kata KT DC 445 for £38

Canon Gadget 100EG for around £30

Lowepro REZO 190 AW for £37

I'm leaning towards the Kata because i like the build quality reviews and internal structure.

Anyone got any comments or suggestions?

I looked at the Crumpler Muffin Top 7500 but the £50 price tag didn't seems to offer anything above the others. (A funky colour i guess :grin:). £40 would certainly be a budget limit on this. Thanks :thumbsup:

I just ran a Pro-Portrait session with the camera club I run at work, which was a great success...

The Pro-photographer brought 2 full studio set ups and we had a model pose (all safe for work, since it was at work!!) - the Pro-tog talking through their routine and showing the results and we each had a go...

it was fantastic - but I never placed such emphasis on the light meter before, and she said it is the single most important bit of kit she uses!

Now, this was obviously with studio lights etc - but, is this something I should invest in?

What are the good ones? stuff to look out for when shopping?

When I looked at what else they're selling, they also have the canon eos 500d for £350.

Having looked on the various US site (B&H, 17th St, etc), I've not seen these that cheap in the US, so something about says too good to be true to me, but they do have a 98% rating on amazon market place, and it would be covered by the amazon marketplace guarantee.

By any chance has anyone bought from them?
