Hi

I've got an MX Revolution with Uberset, Just got a new PC with W7 prf 64bit.

When a new window pops up ie Ctrl-Alt-Del or I'm installing a program from a cd and the relevant window pops up - the mouse doesn't seem to work properly.

Say I do Ctrl-Alt-Del and you can see the various menu options, Log Out, Task Manager, etc, I can scroll down them with my mouse and highlight the option I want but then the mouse click isn't recognised and if I press enter I find that whilst the mouse had highlighted a different option the actual option chosen will have been the default. I have to use the arrow keys in conjunction with enter to pick an option and the way some of these install menus are built it's nigh on impossible to do this.

Any help much appreciated.

My MX Revolution cordless mouse started working itself. The left button would sometimes click twice even tho I'd only pressed it once, or when pressing and holding (like setting power for a pool shot), it wouldn't hold. Very annoying.

So I phoned Logitech support. On the phone for 40 mins, they gave me things to try but didn't work, so I contacted them thru their website. They told me to send them a copy of my receipt. I didn't have it, so I was snookered. Told them I couldn't find it, and was going to buy another mouse, but steer clear of Logitech cos this was less than 2 years old.

They told me to send a photo in of my mouse :confused::confused: , so I did. Then they told me to sent my address :confused::confused:, which I did.

And a brand new MX Revolution mouse arrived by courier today.:clap::clap:

So what seemed a lost cause turned out just mint

So big thanks to Logitech, they'll get my business in the future (yes, I know, I'm a hypocrite after telling them I'd look elsewhere ) :rotfl::rotfl:

Andy.

I`m considering getting one as my full size wireless keyboard/mouse is getting to be a pain, i know the kb is tiny but it wont be seeing much use as for general pc use I wont be using the htpc, as I have a desktop, 2 laptops and a netbook, all this will be used for is the occasional tinkering as i use my harmony programmed as an mce remote on boxee, which seems to tick all the boxes atm.
I know it looks cheap and nasty, but thats because it is cheap, but is it nasty?

Hi All,
I have a new Aspire revo 3600 and am having some teething difficulties! It came with a USB keyboard but I bought a Keysonic one. Unfortunately when I press a number of letters incorrect symbols appear on screen - lots of them!! For example p gives * and w gives 6! This is causing a great deal of strife in the house especially with passwords. This is the same with both keyboards.
Also the machine does not start up or close down well at all.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
The reason for this is that my RF keyboard and USB ir MCE remote don't work together when on the same USB controller (ie back panel). I've currently got a basic 2 port USB PCI card to get round this, but this card doesn't work when in S3 standby so can't resume, and the RF keyboard doesn't work before Windows loads so can't get into BIOS!
