I still class myself as a new PS3 user and am looking at setting up a clan if someone else with more experience wants to be leader. A tournament is trying to be setup by another AVF member see link:

The tournament starts 01.12.2009 so we've only got til 30.11.2009 to get this up and running. I'll be honest and say I'm crap online of the few times I've played, so anyone ranging from crap and upwards are eligable to join. So the question remains, who's in? I have created this thread see how many CLANS would like to take part. Depending on numbers will determing how the tournament will work.
the games that will be played in stages are:
Sign up Rules are
- Please post your clan name and it's members
- Please post the name of Your Clan leader
- Clan names are to be submitted to me and each Clan Leader. No new Clan member can join after the tournament opens
- Each stage rules will be submitted to each leader
- Each Clan will be able to choose a HOME Map and what weapons, perks and killstreaks are NOT allowed.
- Each Clan must host their own home games
- The Winner is based on the points awarded from each completed stage.

My nephew and I have been messaging all players we meet and we have 12 members
We play any game mode, there is no prestige requirements, kill-death ratio requirement or level requirement
Unlike other clans, if we have more than 6 players in the party, we don't kick people, we play ground war instead of kicking (much more fun)
If there are too many players in the party (9+), then we split it up and the co-leader makes party B
We play on the basis of first come first serve
If everything goes well, we will make a website for the clan (BO$$clan.com) you wont have to join, it'll be just for fun
MODERN WARFARE 2 is the ONLY game we play

It is strictly for fun.

Am based in the UK - be good to get a bunch of us together, who are up for some good banter and getting those level points up.
Normally on most evenings from 8pm - 12am and weekends (times can vary) but could pre arrange gaming session.
Ideas, thoughts etc would be good, even do a clan v clan for AV forum users.

I've opened this thread for the members above to discuss the formation of the group and to advertise for some more members.
If you want to join us, it really helps if you are an active poster on the AVForums as this makes it much easier to organise get-togethers and matches. The founding members have played together and posted on the forums for a while now so we know they're not time wasters who'll put there names down then never get involved. Therefore, to make sure you're committed to the clan, any new members who aren't known by the founding members will be accepted into the clan on a two week trial. If the group are happy your getting involved then your in, simple as that.
Although winning is enjoyable, the clan is being set up more as a group of people who share a common interest and want to have some friendly banter whilst playing - therefore the level of skill of the individual players doesn't matter.
So lets get discussing. Do the founding members above want any rules/conditions of the clan adding? Any ideas what to call ourselves?
