I have a 40gb ps3 and have only about 4gb of space left. My problem is I don't understand where I've used it up. I habe about 8 downloaded games on the hd totaling about 2gb and quite a few game saves totaling around another gig. The PS3 is connected to the amp via optical cable and is set to bitsteam.

The amp is connected to 5.1 speakers and is set to dolby digital.

All speakers are working correctly except my subwoofer.

I had it all connected the same from my DVD player and the subwoofer also worked.

Any ideas what it could be?

I also have the PS3 connected via phono (as it except 2 audio outputs) and the sub works in this mode, so it's definately connected correctly.

the plan was to use my XBL id (and my id on here) JT2K6, however it won't let me, doesn't say it's taken or anything, just won't allow it (guess I have missed something saying there isn't enough characters) anyway!

so guys, can anyone comeup with something cool that I could use that wouldn't just be the words sniper kill or a string of x's in a random order? to help you here are some facts about me!

I have a PS3 and my son has a Xbox 360.

Both of us play online....though both sometimes suffer lag...

He gets lag when i download on my laptop
I get lag when he's online.

I thought it miught be because when i'm downloading and he's online we are both wireless....but my Ps3 is wired so can't be that.

My line stats are great so I have no issue with my connection as I download at 1.4-1.5 mb/sec and have good ping.
