Was using the internet on the main PC last night. On going to Google homepage it wouldnt load. Nor would MSN, hotmail etc but other pages were ok.

Tried the laptop - exactly the same thing.
Tried the PS3 and PSP with the same results.

Unplugged the router and let it re-boot with the same effect.

If it was just one item of equipment I would put it down to an isolated virus but cant see how a virus could affect the PSP/PS3 without it somehow affecting the router.

Now I presume the Vundo virus has got in somewhere (known to do this with websites) but possibly also the Zlub virus which I believe is a DNS changer on the router.

My question is - if I run the removal tools on the main PC and laptop (and it finds and removes the virus') - then what is the best way to fix the router if its DNS has been compromised?

Change all the settings/passwords etc myself or would a factory reset of the router and reinstall (changing loging info and WEP keys) suffice?

I don't wish to use Windows Media Player anymore, any way to remove it from the system or is it part of Windows, I could not find it in ADD/REMOVE software. I have chosen to use VLC and stream using PS3 Media Server.

Another thing Vista seems to be handling like a pig in mud, it take an age to load, often leaving my with a black screen and that stupid blue circle.

What could be causing this, I have 2GB ram, should I add more, I only use it for email/web/streaming/ripping and a bit of Word/XL.
