The kids want the Beatles Rock Band for Christmas. I notice that there are two versions a Premium which is about £180 and a Value for £110.

What exactly is the difference between the versions , and also can they use the instruments with other Rock band games?

Thanks

RUMOR: The Who: Rock Band in Development
Written Tuesday, October 27, 2009 by James Parkin

In a recent conversation, Roger Daltrey, lead singer for The Who, gave the following response when The Beatles: Rock Band was brought up:

Q:The Beatles are the latest band to be featured in a video game, “The Beatles: Rock Band.”

A:The game, yeah, yeah, they’re going to be doing a Who one next year. There is one planned. (The idea) is fabulous. Anything that gets non-musical people interested in music is wonderful. In my opinion, music is our last true great freedom. They can burn our books, they can burn our paintings, but they can’t stop us singing and making music.

So, either Mr. Daltrey's blowing smoke, or The Who: Rock Band could actually be in the works.

What do you think? Would you buy/play a version of Rock Band based around the journey of The Who?

So what do you guys reckon? An old wrinkly rocker getting confused about the already released track pack or is RB:TW the next deviation from the RB product model?

I have just got some sound dampners to make my drums less noisy, (thanks for the link), but before I put them on could someone answer a question about the drums for me?

My drums (beatles kit of that makes a difference) will only register a hit if I hit the small dark circle in the middle. All of the white sections (most of the drum pads) are totally dead. Is this the way it is meant to be? Or could they be faulty?

Makes it hard to drum sometimes, not I have advanced away from the red and yellow only!
