My and my pal just got ourselves the sony ps3 headset after going throgh numerous reviews.

For that price and quality, it seems like a good buy.

We tested it out on modern warfare 2 and encountered some in game chat issues.

My voice breaks up and gets muffled on his side, whereas i hear him loud and clear.

In private chat in XBM, no problems at all.

I read that such issues can be cause by game lag, but im not sure why this problem only occurs on his side.

Since a full backup estimated at 6 hours, i decided to get my 'saves' whilst I had a chance ready to be restored onto my Slim when it arrives next week.

But I find several which say something like "coping of this save is not allowed".. This was on games such as Rockband, Guitar Hero and a few others?

What now? Does this mean that I have to start again?

My fix has lasted long enough for me to take a 'backup', but if I can't copy these individual saves, i doubt if I will be able to do this using a backup too.

How can I keep my 'save position' for these games?

Now what i would like to do is get my own broadband installed, so what i would like to know is would i need to install another phone line? and what broadband package should i get to insure i get a connection that is good enough, that i can enjoy playing Modern Warfare 2 online without any problems?... preferably the cheapest most reliable one.

Any help anyone can provide will be very much appreciated.

i would recommend doing it if you have had a similar failure, youve got nothing to loose, and it might just work.:rotfl:

I plugged in the PS3 to my existing setup using the still connected HDMI lead that was plugged into my onkyo 905 amp. Strange thing is, when I turn on my PS3, my Samsung TV turns itself on??? Even with the amp off??? It also turns it to HDMI-2 which isn't used, I only use HDMI-1. I even think then when I turn the PS3 off.....it turns the TV off???

Very annoying. My amp is only plugged into HDMI-1 and the PS3 is only connected to my AMP. :suicide:

For some reason my Dual Shock controller will only work when connected to the charging USB lead when it's connected to the PS3, it will not connect wirelessly.... the 4 lights on the controller just keep flashing on and off slowly (not quickly like it normally does when it connects)..... the controller is fully charged and is really starting to get on my nips!

Maybe a bit unfair but I've studied the videos on Youtube and feel confident enough to do the repair myself. Refering to many other posts on here the refurbs or so called repairs people recieve back are shoddy to say the least. I'd rather attempt the repair myself and feel confident it will work again without having to send my PS3 back time and time again as well as parting with over £120 of my hard earned cash.
So my question is who has repaired their PS3 with the full flow method? Are there are any issues and more to the point is it still working?
I know there are plenty out there that have attempted it so fill me in chaps.
