With them both being about the same price. What are the practical differences between the two and would you prefer one over the other?

Also is the RDA Traffic plug-in actually worth it? I know its compatible with both of these units.

Thanks :smashin:

I am looking at buying a Sat Nav for the mother in law as a Christmas present.

Realistically, how much do I need to spend to get a half decent one?

Only just started looking into it so don't really know what features and things I should be looking for. I know it wouldn't get a huge amount of use - just on the odd long distance journey every now and again.

Ideally I would like to spend under £70 - is this possible?

Thanks

The silly place my cigarette lighter is positioned makes it a real stretch to plug the charger in and reach the sat nav on the windscreen.

Any mini-usb type will do as long as it's longer in length than the standard Nav Man/Tom Tom issues.

Possibly looking at 2m or more, to route it safely out the way.

Many thanks in advance.

HI I have recently bought a 2002 Nissan Premeira SVE, however I am having problems with the sat nav. It comes on when it feels like it and when it is on is great. I have had it looked at by an auto electrican who advises that it is because the complete unit ie-radio,climate control are controlled via the sat nav dvd unit. He looked at it but cannot fix it as he does not have the specialist equip, I have look round the scrap yards however it seems that this is always the 1st thing to go. Is there anyone out there that can help me? Have you had the same problem? How did you get this fix, other than trade the car in I am not sure now what to do? Thanks

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has one of these. Appears to be a very basic new model but Asda are currently selling them for £87.

Very few reviews online but only criticism seems to be you can't specify journey rules (like avoid motorways/tolls etc)

Interested in any thoughts.
