Purchased Metal Gear Solid from the psn store yesterday and put it onto my psp.

The psp version has distortion in the music and codec conversations aswell as some stuttering too. It doesn't play like this on my ps3.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I have deleted and copied again in case it was a bad copy but it still does it.

Not impressed :thumbsdow . Paid £7.99 for a game which I own on a ps1 disc so I can play it on my psp and it is totally unplayable.

The frustrating part is I'd get my money back if it's a fault with the game if not able to sort it out but I don't know how/which way to go about it.

Does anyone know which Sony dept to contact or how to sort this out?

I'm toying with getting a PSP & have read a few posts in other threads about people sharing downloads.

How do you do this?
Is it the same as on PS3 where all games you download go in the download list so you can share across 5 machines so long as you log on to the PSN as the same user?

Would someone who does this please put some instrutions on here please?

Just wanted to confirm something.

- I have installed 5.00 M33-6 CFW on my PSP-1000 successfully.
- I then downloaded and installed the snes9xTYL emulator.
- I put snes9xTYL & snes9xTYL% folders in my \psp\game directory
- I installed the 1.5 kernal add-on using and placed the 1.50 official firmware in the foot folder as 150.pbp
- The 1.50 kernal flashed successfully
- I tried the SNES emulator and it came up with "The game could not be started" and took me back to the PSP menu.

Am I right in thinking I have to boot in recovery mode, go to the recovery section and change the "game folder homebrew" to 1.50 kernal?

Does this sound like a dead battery or a dead PSP?
I cant seem to find any info on this subject.

Charger works fine as tested on my nephews, but his battery is different so i was unable to test that.
