HI,

Can someone please tell me which specific cable I should use to connect my Home Cinema to Sky HD box? It is a quite old Panasonic system, but hopefully will work quite well with the HD Surround. As far I know it is an optical cable, but any and all information, would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I have a Toshiba 56" WH 08 B Rear Projector Television.

The main problem that I have been trying to address for the past month is the fact that when you switch the power button on the audio or visual does not appear, however the Front LED flashes Red to Green continuously

We changed the power supply to no avail even though the High voltage appears but then the protection circuit kicks in.

Otherwise the set is in very good condition, the tubes are in good nick, no signs of fading.

Any suggestions as to which board this may be on?

Thanks in advance

Hi, I hope somebody in the know will be able to help me here.

I've had trouble since day one trying to get my SkyHD viewing to match the audio in terms of lip syncing, I know sometimes a quick up and down of the channels seems to reset it but I wondered if there's more I can do.

I have Sky+ HD connected to my Samsung LE40556A LCD tv with a chord hdmi cable, the audio goes to my Arcam AVR280 via QED optical cable.

I can set Sky to delay the sound via the optical, but i need it to catch up with the video! I would put the video signal through the Arcam receiver but I don't know if this would slow it down to match the sound better or not. I only have 2 hdmi inputs and I use one for PS3 and one for Xbox 360, plus as the Receiver is incapable of decoding audio over HDMI as I understand it I think I'm getting a better picture connecting the Sky HD directly to the TV.

Any suggestions or solutions would be much appreciated, it's really spoiling my viewing pleasure.

Thanks in advance

I always thought this would make a good video game ever since i saw the first SAW film.

Got it sent from Lovefilm today and had a quick blast.

I was in house alone so put on the 5.1 for a change.

Have to say it does a superb job of recreating the movies atmosphere, sounds are great, hearing someone scream, 'help get me out' from behind my settee was freaky.

Alot of the gameplay is dark so your given a lighter thats perfect in lighting up just enough to see where your steppig but not enought to light up the whole room and take away the scare factor.

The puzzles are ok, bit easy up to now, but when you only have 1 min before your head is blown off, the speed factor makes puzzles really tense.

Other inmates are scarey enough and make you jump, but heres teh massive down point, combat is shocking, really shocking. But it doesnt happen much so i'll let em off.

So only bout 1 hr in but it does a really good job up to now.
