Anyone with a Home Bargains near them, in my local one today lots of HDMI cables, 1.5m for £2.99!

Note that Home Bargains are also called QS Discount in some towns (e.g. Sale); they have stocked these for a month or so.

Is the picture quality as good as say, the HDMI freebie leads in with HD DVD/Blu Ray players?

I need one for my 360 but wasnt sure if i should spend more on a QED lead...?

Most HDMI cables/leads are made equal, because it is a pure digital signal, any cable less than 10m is fine, so go for the cheapest :D So yes the freebie ones will be more than good enough

QED and the rest wrt HDMI cables is an absolute waste of money, it doesn't matter what their ads say! Have a look for some threads on this site, it's pretty conclusive :D
