The MicroMemo voice recorder is generally regarded as the best one available and the white version is available from Amazon at about a third of the price everywhere else - linky

Of course Sod's law dictates that I decided to buy a black iPod when I upgraded recently, however the black recorder at under £22 is still the best price I could find.

And I had no compunction in discarding my aesthetic principles to add a white FM transmitter to my basket at less than the price of a pint of beer in some places. Not many of these left though.
