Would appear to be an excellent purchase if you needed a complete Home Theatre System and are on a tight budget (hears the hordes of students typing in their debit card details).

Re: Bush DVD Misprice £99.99 to £19.99

any chance this can be used to get 5.1 surround sound from say digital tv, sky or a ps3? or does it simply provide the surround sound for DVDs? Know its a feeble system buy any stretch of the imagination but hope someone can help.

cheers

Re: Bush DVD Misprice £99.99 to £19.99

Well i've purchased it purely for abit of x360 fun in my spare room as I don't want my x360 in the lounge connected to my other setup.
I think it'll be okay,if not then im £20 odd quid worse off.

cant find any real details on it, would think it didnt have any inputs at this price, hence can only be used for surround sound for the included dvd play? aint a clue, would be cool if someone in the know could tell me if its possible to hook this upto sky or ps3

Unfortunately Bush (along with Grundig, Wharfedale, Pye and others) still have a quality brand image with Joe Public

Mine was delivered yesterday, haven't had a chance to set it up yet. Does anybody know if you can connect an X360 with success. I know I should just connect up myself but most of my gear is packed away as im in the middle of moving house. Thanks in advance

Re: Bush DVD Misprice £99.99 to £19.99

Does anyone know whether the bush dvd player supports 'DTS' surround sound? I know the amazon specs say it does but I have my doubts as there is no mention of 'DTS' support anywhere in the instructions or packaging. Plus isn't there generally a 'DTS' logo on the front of any compatible equipment?

Cheers

Nope, it doesn't. I tried playing a DVD track in DTS. No sound came out. Sorry mate.
