why

why do bargains like this happen just after the car goes wrong.
Must admit quite a few good buys here

Thank you very much Tejpal.
I've been wanting to get rid of my mis-matched Tannoys and Eltax for ages, and at this price it would be rude not to buy them.
All i'm bothered about now is my room setup for the Bi-poles.I might have to re-arrange.

Again,thanks

Has anyone got any experience of these speakers? From the review they look excellent for the price.

I did find one strange thing though, there are 2 different fronts listed on the Eltax site, one is 960mm tall with 2x165mm drivers and the other is 835mm tall with 2x130mm divers both have the same 25mm tweeter.

The speakers reviewed were the larger ones.

I wonder which QED-uk are supplying.

I've received mine and they are not the ones in the review. But i'm very pleased with them, and think for the price they are a bargain.

The review is 2 years old anyway.

What are they then?
A new updated version, or something different altogether?
A few more details would be much appreciated, before i decide whether to buy or not.

cheers......thamesider

There are two versions on the Eltax site. One is the one in the review, listed under separates. The one which I belive QED is selling is listed under package Chroma and are smaller (in the case of the fronts), lighter (in all cases) speakers.

Hi. New to the forum. Please tell me, do the speakers that actually arrived have a black piano finish?

I'm no expert on AV so a review from me would be useless.Don't expect the earth from a speaker package for just over £200 anyway. If your new to HC,they are a good deal, and they will do me until i can afford some Gallo's..........and a new amp.............and a Plasma!
