Do RicherSound.ie ship to UK? They've got prices in euro and sterling, and on their register page its got a drop down box for country with UK or Ireland, but in their T&C it states:

"We regret that we cannot accept orders for and make deliveries to addresses outside of Ireland."

Anyone bought this in the uk?

Never seen an XBox 360 spin dvd's, but it's hard to see how it could possibly match up to the Marantz - viewing via HDMI, it's a class act!

Just set up an account with them, seems odd that they accept UK addresses for registration if they dont deliver outside Ireland??
I really want to order this player though, at £140 inc delivery its more than a bargain!, im gonna try ordering and see what they say, cant miss out on this deal!

Richersounds Ireland are based in Belfast, and are technically not allowed to post items to mainland UK, only northern Ireland and the republic of Ireland as the rest of richersounds.co.uk covers mainland UK only. They are a great shop, really friendly. Best bet is to give them a ring, i'm pretty sure they will not turn down a sale

you dont get customs for goods in EU as you pay local tax, so the price you pay is the price you pay !!!

Thanks for the reassurance, really looking forward to hooking this up to my 1366 x 768 LCD to give me the ultimate picture performance (within my budget). Just need to update my AMP to provide me with the best sound (again within my limited budget) in the next couple of months. I will be currently doing the Marantz no justice to either letting the TV output the sound or by connecting the phono outputs to my ageing all in one hi-fi system.

In the Marantz manual it says that these leads will provide a stereo output however it will be plugged into my Hi-fi which can output in DD therefore will the sound be converted as such to my 5 speakers?

Can anyone tell me how long after ordering did you receive E-Mail confirmation of your order

Received mine this week so very happy. Got the receipt a day later in the post in case anyone is wondering if their's is missing.

Only problem is I don't have an HDMI lead to connect it to the TV and don't have the phono leads to get DVD Audio out of it. Leads should be arriving next week though, so hopefully I'll be able to see what its capable of soon. It definately looks the part next to my Marantz receiver though!

I ordered one on Friday evening, no confirmation, yet I was kind of expecting the immediate confirmation you get, when you order and pay over the internet...

I ordered on the 19th, received order confirmation the same day, a shipped notification on the 22nd and according to the tracking number I should receive it tommorrow (the 26th).

I'm the same strezi i was expecting to get confirmation almost immediately but am yet to get it. Also if you want to get anything else from them you need to log in to the site and at no point during the registration process did it ask me to create a password so i was expecting it to be sent via E-Mail with the order confirmation?

I ordered on the 21st and received two emails almost immediately, one confirming registration and giving me a password and one confirming the order, yesterday(24th) I received a third email confirming despatch.

The email confirming registration has a password at the bottom to allow you to log into the site and track your order.

Just went to the Richersounds.ie web site and the Marantz is no longer on it. I wonder if they ran out of stock and cant for-fill the orders from the weekend?

Hopefully panic over just phoned them and they said that my order should be posted today and be with me within 24hrs

Just called them myself and I too have one

Here's the situation (for anyone else who has ordered but not heard)

They pulled the item from the website this morning as the orders over the weekend took care of all the stock.

If your sale went through online, then you got one.

You won't get an email until they have cleared your funds and shipped. (Seems a bit of a manual process - I could hear the papers shuffling as he looked for my order... )

When they have cleared funds with your card co, then packing and shipping will happen asap, and you'll get an email with a DHL tracking number.
