Hope this works with a PHD8. At £16, worth taking the risk, so I'll buy.

Ironically was bidding for a used one on eBay (also from RicherSounds). One auction I'm glad I did'nt win.

need to remove tuner box to use seperate boards (power box off at mains) or just ditch it it knobbles the PQ

Ordered mine over the net(£17) received it yesterday and also purchased the Belkin component cable(£7.50 also posted in this forum) from PC world,bargain less than £25 for the pair.Thanks Guys.

Excellent deal - Just purchased a Panasonic TH42PHD8 yesterday & needed to upgrade the board from the standard crappy one you get with it as standard - couldnt of come at a better time!!!

Reserved & picking it up later!!!

Great find - picked on up today from Stockport branch ( Chester and Liverpool out ) - Stockport still had a couple more in though if anyone still needs one.

Confirm also that it fits and works perfect in my PH9

Can I use this to connect a Nintendo Wii or 360 to my PHD8? as I have only got the std. board and Hdmi board.

Okay, managed to get one from Richer Sounds in Maidstone yesterday (last one left) for £9.99

I assume I can connect a Wii to my PHD8 now using the optional componenet cable?

Yes mate.

Thats the only reason i bought one was for my Wii. Your be able to run your Wii at 480 progressive and its supposed to look stunning.

just gotta wait for my component lead to arrive - there like hot cakes at the moment.
