Great Spot!

Do you know if there's any way of bidding for any items without actually attending the auction (Got to work )

Tempted to go to this even though it would mean setting off very early to get there. Only problem is the amount of room in my car which would limit me to normal hi-fi sized stuff or maybe a small sub. I guess the racks, big speakers and cables will be the real bargains on the day.

Yep, skived off work and got me a Quake for £200.

Tried to get an Arcam dvd player too, but too many dealers there with big money to spend

Still pleased tho

Nice one johnboy, so were the prices still a bit on the highside considering they were sold as seen. (Trying to make myself feel better about missing it).

I went along and there were some good buys but also some prices went pretty close to full retail once 11.5% commission and vat was added. There were a handfull of dealers there who were buying a fair bit of stuff. I bought a few bits and pieces but my bargain catch was a Townsend Seismic rack for £50. If I didn't have so much kit I would probably have bought more but the prices seemed to be pretty much in line with the ads on here or at ebay anyway.

CD, yeah i agree with Bassbin. I didn't think a lot of the prices were super cheap, although 1 sticks in mind, a Marantz SR7300 Receiver for £140!!
Def a few dealers buying all of the good (in my mind) stuff, B&W, arcam Denon etc.
So, don't feel too bad that you didn't sit in an old cow shed for hours for a 'bargain'
