*VERY* Cheap UPS Devices for PC (or possible A/V Use).

Ebuyer have their 'Kebo' 650VA UPS devices back in stock:

Product ID 64165 = £25.00 inc. VAT (black)

Product ID 62752 = £23.49 inc. VAT (beige)

And there's also a 1000VA version at a mere £39.99 plus delivery (Product ID 62750). Delivery comes in at around £6-£7.

www.ebuyer.co.uk

But it gets better; if you're quick, you can get a Belkin 4-way adapter with an IEC male -> 4 UK Mains sockets for £6.77 delivered from Dell (search for F6C104UPP at Dell's online shop). Goes well with the aforementioned

You're right but their cheapest shipping brings this to £9 odd. Dell's are shipping free right now (and on tons of other cables too).

Re: *VERY* Cheap UPS Devices for PC (or possible A/V Use).

Kebo's on sale at a local car boot, I bought one last week,
found the problems(!) and tried to take it back today,
told seller who has a electrical returns stall says he buys
his stuff ''off the pallet''

Told seller about fire risk, everything has a risk he says...

I contacted ebuyer last week who said it would not/could
not be one of theirs.

Well when I had finished talking with the vendor I had a
shuffle through is stock, most units had labels removed
but I found a few still with, although someone had tried
to cover up the identity of the original owners etc.

My eye sights a little bad, can anyone tell me what it
says on these labels in these photos I took only a few
hours ago.........

I /think/ it says ebuyer........

Indeed it does. Alarmingly though, above that it reads REF: PRODUCT RECALL.

I would imagine both Ebuyer's and your own regional trading standards officers would be interested to investigate this one.

Yes well I emailed them and got this reply........

If he is a "professional car booter" then local trading standards, the inland revenue & the VAT man may be interested (depending on his turnover).
So might the Health & Safety Executive.
