Just noticed on the Robert Whyte site that their offering 5% off all products -

I was about to order a Sony KDEP37XS1 - can now get it with £140 off! Might try calling up and seeing if I can stretch that to £150

phew - so its a good thing I waited a few days!!

You are spending three grand and you worry about a tenner! Perhaps you should reconsider your finances.

whos worrying dude? Chill.

I like the fact that when I buy something for three grand I can customise the price - its the way I am.

When I bought my TVR - I did the same. The salesman will always make money and I'll get a product plus a smile.

Some people are happy with a salesman with a better suit - I prefer arthur daley and a bit change

£10 will buy just the same amount whether its change from £3000 or from £20. I think it is you who should consider your finances!

Robert Whyte - very good deal.

They are also offering 3 year free warranty on Panasonic DVD recorders until the end of tomorrow, and they have the DMR-E95 for £589.99 (plus postage).
Seems very good.

Steve.

Thanks for the info on the 5%, I ordered today.

The free 3 year warranty on panasonic DVD recorders is in place during tomorrow.
Also the Panasonic E95 is still cheaper than anywhere at £589.99 (plus postage).

You could always ring them and see if they'll give you a discount.

Is the E95 multi-region??If not it would still cost a bit more than buying a multi region model

Good point, I'm hoping to find the pronto codes to change it to m/region.

The other thing is that from past postings they seem to be a very reputable dealer, mind you all internet shops are very good!

The 3 year warranty seemed quite useful, mind you in 6 months it'll be very out of date.
