Philex Home Cinema Scart

Found this 1.5m scart to scart yesterday in Robert Dyas (the ironmongers) of all places for only £6.99 (RRP £14.99 although they claimed £19.99).

5* rated in What HiFi and seems to be just as good as my Philex Thor scart which retails for substantially more being the next range up. It's also got flatter plugs so I can actually get it in the back of my TV! Excellent cheap upgrade

Are these properly shielded scarts ? I need to get quite a few for day to day use and these look great for the price as long as they are foil shielded.

Hello!

According to the packaging they have "Multiple Shielding" (Copper and Aluminum). The cable is approx. 1cm in diameter.

Short of cutting it in half, I afraid I cant really tell you any more. There is Careline number you can ring if you wish: 08457 573479, the part number is 26481H.

Cheers Dave

Picked a few up today. Nicely constructed and bargain for £6.99, though they are NOT fully screened. Not sure how they could have got 5*'s in a review if they're not ? Oh well.
