Hitachi 22" Widescreen LCD TV 22LD4200

Currys have these on special offer at £999 which looked like a good price until I found this: http://www.qed-uk.com/?i=10UWHm0yYc1...bp=42000s&bi=0

Ordered on Saturday, arrived yesterday. Really nice little TV with a bright sharp picture suitable for daylight viewing. It even includes a wall mounting bracket.

The link did point to the page for the 22" Hitachi at £770. They must have removed the page, as DJW 666 says, probably sold out.

Yup, wall mount is included. Not sure if it's vesa, but it works well enough.

how does ot compare with the panny 22" and sony lcd's as good as I am thinking of buying you can now get these for £750 delivered.

here in switerland they sell it under the "seg" brand, so as is typical now for some lcds; they low end is rebadged, they high end 28+ inch is based on hitachi technology. the 22 incher looks quite cheap and the picture quality is poor, it's a 15:9 to boot. but there are not many alternatives in that size region.
