Komplett are a registered UK company (Vat number & all).

Full pan-european warranty with the AE300 from Komplett (yes, that includes the UK ).

Careful making statements like that lest they take offence & up the price

Does anyone know what the difference is between the European version and the UK version?

Shouldn't be any difference. The (e) denotes a €uropean model which has a scart connector. Last time I checked, the UK was part of €urope

Japanese/US models don't have scart.

Import model with identical spec to UK model, except ships with wrong power lead and non-UK manual (apparently). Discussed at length in this thread.

I have just been told that the non uk ones are designed to run at a slightly different voltage (lower) than the uk spec ones.
this means nothing to me! can anyone shed any light on this?
the price difference seems strange to me as well if its only for a plug and a manual!

From the UK AE200/300 manual, it has a 50/60Hz, 100-240V power supply. I would be amazed if this is different for different locales. Makes no sense from a manufacturing point-of-view.
