you could still use it in any tomtom with a sd card slot, not sure exactly what the code is used for tho. (to upgrade i think)
not an expert on this, just upgraded to Europe maps and then new tomtom (replacement as other one wouldnt work anymore). therefore i still had the UK maps

i also have a RDS TMC tomtom traffic update receiver. it plugs into the tomtom to get updates via rds. i have two, got a new one when i swapped my old tomtom in for a tomtom one.
This single cable that uses a sucker to attach to your windscreen gives you a lifetime of traffic updates!! (NO monthly cost!)

Do you know what version map of gb it is, is it the latest map, and dont suppose you know if will work on a tom tom910 with a hard drive without an sd card slot.

i live in kettering so if it works ill take it off your hands

sorry dont believe this would work without the tomtom having a sd card slot. The maps are of GB but an old version, updated twice when i had the tomtom 510. would guess that they are just over a 1 year old maps.
