I am selling my Panasonic NN-CS596S Steam Plus Microwave Combination Oven. Its 18 months old.

The only slight issue is the drip tray under the door has come off its hinges so just rests under the door. This does not affect the working of the oven at all.

This costs £400 new and I am selling it for £220! Collection only due to the weight of the item.

Someone asked me a question by PM so I thought I would post the answer here.

The question was "Still for sale? Why are you actually selling it? Did you enjoy cooking with it?"


Yes its still for sale. I am selling it because it has always been a bit too big for our tiny kitchen. I use it mainly as a microwave and its automatic cooking facility is great for pizzas, jacket potatoes etc. It comes with a shelf, glass baking tray, metal roasting tray and all the extras for the steaming facility. There are also 2 cleaning cycles that can be carried out by selecting the option on the little computer. I must admit I have never used the steam feature, I promised myself I was going to eat more healthily and it never happened

I hope to purchase a more basic/smaller microwave oven.

Sorry for the late reply. I have been away.

With reference to the email you sent me. I will not knock of £75 just because the tray is loose. It doesnt make any difference to the workings of the microwave at all and probably only costs £10 to buy a new one, its only a little plastic tray after all.

Can you just confirm that it has not tripped/cut out on you? That seems to be a known issue with them, as its out of warranty I wouldnt want to get any nasty surprises!!!
