It has been decided that with the recent amount of sales of Apple TV units on the classifieds, and the subsequent thread reports of profiteering that these devices generate, that a capped price point is to be imposed on them.

No ATV may be sold for more than £100, whether it be unlocked, Jail broken, modified or otherwise. This price is in accordance with the RRP that they were originally sold for at retail on release. Whilst we understand they may be selling for much more than that elsewhere via the second hand market, that has absolutely no relevance or bearing to selling them on here and any device listed above the original RRP will contravene the AVF Classifieds profiteering rule. As such they cannot be listed for more and any member doing so will incur an infraction.

The AVF classifieds has a thriving and honest community base and whilst we don’t want to restrict members from selling their items for a fair a price, this decision has been made to maintain a level playing field for all whilst also counteracting those who wish to make a fast buck.
