I have read the trading rules and agree to abide by them at all times until the transaction is concluded to the satisfaction of all parties involved : Yes.

This message is automatically inserted in all classifieds forum threads.

By replying to this thread you agree to abide by the trading rules detailed here.

Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:

1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
2) Name and address including postcode
3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.

Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Re: Wanted : Philips Prestigo SRU9600

Hi enol,

Thanks for the offer, I see you have 1 previous deal on the forums with that in mind would you be prepared to send the remote first for me to test etc and following that for me to pay you afterwards? this does tend to be the way forward on these forums for people with low feedback - My feedback is faultless as you can see.

Appended is a link to Amazon with the price being under £50 with free delivery - with that in mind are you prepared to lower your asking price as it is second hand?

Thanks

Re: Wanted : Philips Prestigo SRU9600

hiya, to be honest i do not mind sending it first, but i am in the middle of a couple of trades on here, i have just sold a phone for £68 to derek, and i am building up my refs, i am also about to meet up with another member to sell a phone to them, i am meeting them at 1.30pm today in fact, so that will be another ref for myself.

also i have a 100% feedback rating on ebay which i will forward the link on to you for you to check,

i paid £47 for it, and this control including packaging is large and quite heavy,

so the £4 is for p&p really leaving me with £30 so i already have taken a loss of £17.

unless you want to pick it up yourself, then you can have it for £30 no problem, i live in nottingham.

Hi enol,

Just to confirm a couple of things for your benefit;

You should keep all correspondence on thread until a deal is agreed.

You are not allowed to advertise items on here and Ebay at the same time.

It doesn't matter how many other deals you have going through on these forums or any other for that matter, there have been too many good people ripped of by scams lately, I am in no way insinuating that you are a scammer just want you to know my position.

ok thanks for that i was wondering why you was not replying to my PM,

and it was a coincidence about the remote control, i was not advertising it on here, please look at the date of the start of the auction and the date i responded to your wanted thread. i put it on ebay a couple of days ago and then i saw your thread yesterday and merely responded to it, i am not trying to deceive anyone or break any rules etc, if you agreed to a sale i would have taken it off ebay straight away but your still deliberating etc so i have not taken it off otherwise i would lose my listing fees.

so it is entirely up to you if you want to go ahead, you have seen my auction. my 100% feedback rating, pictures of the remote etc. i can pass on all my details to you also, as stated by the rules, people have to build up there i trader ratings somehow, and there is always an element of risk purchasing on the internet whether it be from ebay or here or anywhere else,

so like i said up to you mate, but im not out to rip anyone off especially for £34,
