For Sale : Sky HD Box

Hi

I have a Sky HD box that is about 18 months old. Its a Thompson box and running the new EPG. Its been faultless but is now unused as I have moved to Virgin Media.

Its' complete with Remote, HDMI cable and power cable. I may possibly have the box and manual in the loft but won't know until tonight, I can also post some pictures tonight if required.

Looking for £ 90 Delivered or £ 80 Collected via BT or Paypal Gift.

Can i ask a silly question? - what are the advantages of buying a box this way, compared to upgrading with Sky?

If your a new customer then you could probably get one cheaper, however existing customers don't get the same deals . This is partly why I left. I called them to have an addtional HD box and they wanted £ 199, my parents (who only have a Sky+ box) also called as they wanted to upgrade to Sky HD and again they were quoted £ 199. So buying one like this can work out much cheaper.

Thats what happened to me anyway.
